Jenny Christian (Director) received her BA in Theatre from Western Kentucky University in 1999 and has worked in a variety of theatres in Central Kentucky and London, England. She has fulfilled a variety of roles while working in theatre both backstage and onstage, however directing is her home in the theatre. Jenny received her MFA in Directing for Theatre from East 15 Acting School in Loughton, England. Some directing credits include; Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, The Mousetrap, Drinking in America, Sealed for Freshness and Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Jenny served as producer and director of The Guys in Lexington, KY and an evening of 10 minute plays, Brief Encounters of the Theatrical Kind, in London, England. While in London she was the Assistant Director on a fringe production of A Midsummer Nightâ€™s Dream and the world premiere of BLACKSHIRTS at the Tristan Bates Theatre in Central London. She has created and taught a personal narrative storytelling workshop titled Whatâ€™s Your Story and did a stint teaching in the Theatre Department at WKU as an adjunct professor. Most recently she was directing and teaching at Stage Door Manor in Loch Sheldrake, NY. Jenny believes in the power of storytelling and the importance of theatre.
