Libby Falk Jones is a writer and retired professor of English at Berea College where she held the Chester D. Tripp Chair in Humanities. She taught a variety of writing courses, including creative writing, journalism, technical communication and experimental writing. Her poems and creative nonfiction have been published in regional and national journals and anthologies, including Appalachian Heritage, PMS poemmemoirstory, The Merton Seasonal, New Growth: Recent Kentucky Writings, Berea Magazine, and I to I: Life Writing by Kentucky Feminists. A chapbook of her poems, Above the Eastern Treetops, Blue, appeared in 2010 from Finishing Line Press. She is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing with EKU’s Bluegrass Writers Studio.
